Born and raised in New Zealand, Grant was brought up around the water and boats. He built his first boat at the age of nine. Anything marine is close to Grant's heart, hence his drive to provide a service of excellence for the marine industry. Helping clients design, plan and attain their dreams with their own vessels is his passion.

Spanning a career of more than 30 years, Grant has been responsible for the production, conversion or refit of hundreds of craft from 10m timber steam boats to 70m Superyachts.

Grant is now proud to be a part of the EM Yacht Management team, helping to create the stunning Outer Reef Trident Series.

After taking a four-year working holiday sailing his Maurice Griffiths designed Golden Hind 31' from England to New Zealand, Mick settled there, into a long and successful career in Boat Building, Marine Procurement and Project Management. Having the skills and experience of actually putting boats together alongside a team of others in many different parts of the world gave Mick a real edge in the fields of Marine Procurement and Project Management. In 2015, he moved to Croatia to work in the Yacht Building industry in Split, and Mick now brings his extensive knowledge and enviable experience to building Trident Series luxury yachts with the EM Yacht Management team.
